Back To Iraq, Book #2 of the Janitors Series - Janitors get okay to take out al-Qaida facililty in Iraq.

Today’s excerpt is from Back To Iraq, Book #2 of the Janitors Series.  Less than two days after the Islamic 9/11 attack on America, the okay is given for the Janitors to take out an al-Qaida facility inside Iraq.  Enjoy and have a fantastic day.

When Ted returned to the White House, he went into conference with General Bradley.  The general liked the plan and took it into the President when the President’s time permitted.  He handed the copy given him by Ted to the President.  “Jim Scott has drawn up a plan to take out that underground facility in Iraq near the town of Hit that we have discussed a few times already.”

“Will it work?”

“I think so, sir.  You know Scott…he seldom misses…  Make that never misses, as far as I know.”

“Can he bring it off without it becoming public knowledge?”

“I’m sure he can.  Who would broadcast the fact?  Certainly not the Iraqis.  Whatever that place is, you can bet that it is something that shouldn’t be.  On our end, only you, I, Ted, and the Janitors will know.  Oh, some of the support people they have asked for—airlift types et cetera will know—but what will they really know?  Only that the Janitors went in and came out.

“Sir, if we’re lucky, this is an al-Qaida facility and we can hit bin Laden where he least expects it…and soon.  I can lay on the things Scott needs in about two hours.  He said he needs about an hour’s notice.  It sure would be nice to smack bin Laden back within 36 or so hours.  Just a damn pity we’d have to keep it to ourselves.  The public could sure use that kind of a boost.  However, it would make the job of coalition building very difficult if it leaked out.”

“That was my real concern when I asked if we could keep it under our hats.  Do you see any reason not to give him the go ahead?”

“None, sir.”

“Do it.”

“Yes, sir,” a very happy General Bradley said as he turned and left the Oval Office.

Four hours later, the Janitors were on their way to Iraq.
