Today’s excerpt is from Fido,

dealing with two men believed to be following the CIA Station Chief in

While that
conversation was taking place, Dusty and Sarah had walked to the SUV Harry and
Ike were in. Just as they did, Sarah
went, stood in front of the building the SUV was parked in front of, and posed. Dusty took out his cell phone and acted as
though he was snapping a picture of her.
He backed up a bit, to stand near the open window of the SUV, and Ike
deftly handed him a car-tracking device. As Sarah walked off hand-in-hand with
him, Dusty passed it to Sarah and told her what to do. They continued on down the sidewalk, until
they neared the sedan. There Sarah knelt
down and tied her shoe…after slipping the tracking device under the rear bumper
of the sedan. When she stood up, she
giggled, walked over to the building the sedan was parked in front of, and did
some more posing. Dusty walked on past
where she stood and again pretended to snap a few pictures of her. As he put away the phone, he did snap a few
pictures…of the two men in the car. He
did it so slickly neither man had any idea of what had just happened, right in
front of them. They did give admiring
glances to Sarah as she and Dusty continued on down the sidewalk.
